Georgia Emergency Department Services was founded in Gainesville in 2000. Over the last several years, GEDS has grown to approximately 40 physicians and 30 advanced practice providers at 5 sites.
GEDS is 100% owned by its practicing emergency physicians who live in the communities they serve. Our physicians and Advanced Practice Providers continually look for ways to improve emergency care in the region and state.
