Simulation

Dr. Sidhant Nagrani serves as our Director of Simulation. He and other staff members in the simulation lab are actively involved in educating trainees, APPs and GEDS physicians a using case-based instruction on mannequins to simulate actual patient encounters. These training opportunities allow learners to practice critical decision making in a controlled and observed environment with real time feedback.

Morbidity & Mortality Conferences

Each month, GEDS physicians gather to review challenging cases as part of our objective for continuous medical education. The goals of these conferences are to provide a confidential, judgment-free arena for open discourse. They are not meant to be punitive, but to prevent and reduce errors and complications.
