At GEDS, our Emergency Observation Unit is one of the most active in the Southeast, managing the care of over 15,000 patients annually across our two campuses, which feature a total of 36 beds.

Behavioral Health Observation

Our Advanced Practice Providers manage care for our behavioral health patients in conjunction with intake specialists and psychiatrists. Ownership of these patients allows for more efficient and safer care.

We’ve expanded care for children in our community under the leadership of our Pediatric Emergency Medicine trained physicians.
