Dr. Ruch was born and raised in Mexico before moving to the USA in 2005. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Dr. Ruch attended the University of Tennessee, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology, and a minor in Philosophy. She worked at Peachford Hospital in Atlanta for a year before pursuing medical school at the University of Georgia/MCG campus and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Wake Forest.

Dr. Ruch has also worked as an emergency physician at LifeBrite Community Hospital in the mountains of North Carolina. When asked why she chose medicine, she says, “Because I think this is the most interesting and gratifying specialty. I love that I can take care of anyone and anything.” In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and dog, as well as exercising, cooking, and reading. She looks forward to serving the Northeast Georgia community.
