Dr. Ratchford grew up in Clemson and is an avid Clemson football fan. He is married and has three children. A retired Colonel from the South Carolina Army National Guard, he served tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In his free time, he enjoys whitewater kayaking and deer hunting.
