Dr. Sheba George was born and raised in New York City, where she also completed her medical school and residency training. Alongside her medical education, she had the opportunity to conduct research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), with a particular focus on International Emergency Medicine. Her research on HIV testing in the emergency department has been published and presented at the International Emergency Medicine Summit.
For the past two years, Dr. George lived in Dubai, where she enjoyed serving the Middle Eastern community. She has recently returned to Atlanta and is excited to join Georgia Emergency Department Services (GEDS). Dr. George looks forward to serving the local community and contributing to the growth of the residency program.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling internationally with her husband and two young daughters, spending time with friends, and supporting children in poverty through her partnership with Compassion International.
