Dr. Gulati was born in India, grew up in Zambia, attended boarding school near London, England, and moved to Atlanta in 1993 to begin college. He completed both his undergraduate and medical education at Emory University, followed by a residency in Emergency Medicine at Indiana University.

Since 2010, he has practiced as a board-certified emergency physician with Georgia Emergency Department Services (GEDS) and previously served on the Executive Board as Vice President of Finance. His professional interests include practice management, leadership, stroke care, trauma and critical care, and simulation training.

The youngest of three siblings, Dr. Gulati enjoys spending his free time with his two children and significant other, traveling, exploring new restaurants with vegetarian options, driving, and attending live sports events.
