With 27 years of experience in healthcare finance, John Gol is a results-driven executive skilled in financial operations, strategic planning, and revenue cycle management. As the former CFO of Borland Groover, the largest independent GI group in Florida and the second largest in the nation with over 85 physicians, John played a pivotal role in growing the practice from $25 million to $250 million in revenue. He was part of a team that developed seven ancillary businesses, secured $52 million in bank financing, and was instrumental in the sale of two endoscopy centers, securing an 80% increase in their value. His leadership was key in recruiting over 40 physicians, revitalizing operational processes, and maintaining profitability even during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

John’s expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, joint venture development, debt management, and financial modeling. He has a strong background in negotiating managed care contracts, improving revenue cycle efficiencies, and leading strategic planning to drive growth with minimal capital investment.

John holds an MBA from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Florida State University. 

In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his friends and family, grilling, golf, reading and time with his GSP Chili. He also serves on the Board of Trustees at the University of North Florida.
