Dr. Oshimura was born in Tokyo, Japan, and grew up in Chapel Hill, NC. He earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences from NC State University and is a board-certified Emergency Physician, having completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Indiana University.

In his spare time, Dr. Oshimura enjoys traveling, hiking, playing soccer, and spending quality time with his family.
