About Me:

Dr. Baquet grew up in Frederick, Maryland on a small horse farm. He ended up in North Carolina for undergraduate school at Elon University where he had several opportunities to study abroad as an international studies and religious studies double-major. He was not initially pre-medical and after spending a year serving in AmeriCorps, he completed a post-baccalaureate premedical year at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore before entering medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Dr. Baquet met his wife in medical school and they ultimately matched into residency training at Wake Forest Baptist in Winston Salem, North Carolina. After completing residency, he stayed on at Wake Forest to gain further experience completing an Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship.

In his time off, he enjoys spending time with his cavapoo pup - Lily, reading, watching movies, and traveling.
