About Me:

Dr. Sheba George was born and raised in New York City.   She went to medical school and did her residency training in New York City as well.

Alongside her medical training, she had the opportunity to do research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  She has a strong interest in International Emergency Medicine which has led her to publish and present her research at the International Emergency Medicine Summit.  Her research interest focused on HIV testing through the ED.

For the past 2 years, she was living in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and enjoyed serving the Middle Eastern community.

She recently moved back to Atlanta and is excited to join GEDS.   Dr. George looks forward to serving the community and helping the residency program grow.

During her leisure, she loves to spend time with friends and travel internationally with her husband and 2 young daughters.    In addition, she partners with Compassion International to help provide holistic care to children in poverty.
