Dr. Wang was born in Montreal and raised in Fairfax, VA. He attended Yale University, where he double-majored in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and Global Affairs, then continued at Yale to earn an MPH in Infectious Disease Epidemiology as well as his MD. After completing his Emergency Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Morningside-West in New York City, he relocated to Atlanta, where he is currently completing an applied epidemiology fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and serving with the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Dr. Wang is excited to join the GEDS team and serve his new community.
