Dr. Jason Konzelmann, originally from central Illinois, earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He went on to obtain his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, followed by an Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center Shands/Jax in Jacksonville, FL.

A fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Konzelmann currently serves as the Medical Director of the Emergency Observation Unit. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, and engaging in various outdoor sports.
