I was born and raised in Miami, FL. Seeking a change in weather, I headed north to attend Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. After graduation, I moved to San Francisco, where I conducted AIDS research at UCSF before returning east for medical school and residency in New York. Returning to Florida, I practiced Emergency Medicine in Miami for 14 years. Now, as a new member of GEDS, I am thrilled to begin the next chapter of my career as an Emergency Medicine physician in Northeast Georgia.
In our free time, my family and I enjoy traveling the country in our RV, with a goal to visit all of the National Parks—so far, we’ve seen about half. Moving to Georgia allows us more time in the mountains, while still staying connected to the sea.
