Dr. Skipper grew up in Kennesaw, GA. She attended Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN, where she double-majored in Cell Molecular Biology and French. After college, she returned to warmer climates to attend Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA, where she met her husband, Zach Skipper. Following medical school, they moved to Lexington, KY, where she completed her residency in Emergency Medicine, and Zach completed his in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Kentucky. They are blessed with three beautiful children.

Outside of work, Dr. Skipper enjoys spending time with her family, watching stand-up comedy, and cooking. The Skippers are thrilled to be back home, serving their community in Northeast Georgia.
